I have always wanted to start a blog, but I could always find an excuse of why it wouldn't work. Well, I finally decided, it's now or never, so we're going to give this a go! With over 20 years in the legal field, I've built a career around delivering comprehensive paralegal services across a variety of areas. My journey has taken me through roles in non-profits, law firms, corporate legal departments, and educational institutions, each one adding to my skills and adaptability. From estate planning and probate to corporate governance, compliance, and litigation management, I’ve developed a broad skill set that lets me provide top-notch support tailored to each client’s unique needs. In other words - I love nerding out about all things in the legal world!

I love my current career path working as an Executive Assistant for a nationwide property and casualty insurance company, where I support the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel in everything from legal research and document preparation to board communications, compliance, and litigation. Previously, I was a Senior Paralegal with an Oklahoma City law firm, focusing on estate planning and probate and trust administration. I have also experience working in the education and non-profit sectors. My well-rounded career history has helped me develop many different skills that are incredibly useful in my everyday work life.

Outside my full-time role, I am also open to providing legal and administrative support to a select group of independent clients. Whether working with attorneys or non-attorney clients, my goal is always the same: to deliver clear, professional, and tailored solutions.

I earned my certification through the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2004 and continue to learn through seminars and other educational resources so I am up-to-date on all the latest in the legal world, ensuring my employer and clients receive top-tier expertise and service every step of the way.
